• What is this image?

My paintings, collages and photos are all digital. After I create them on the computer, they are either transferred to canvas and attached to stretcher strips, or processed as a photograph and framed, which makes them ready to hang. It is considered a digital print or giclée. Paintings on canvas may be ordered framed or unframed. All artwork that contains photographic elements is matted and framed automatically but it NOT put on canvas.

• Can the artist make, exhibit or sell a reproduction of the artwork even if it’s a commission?

Yes. The artist will retain the copyright © indefinitely and is free to reproduce, print, sell and/or exhibit any and all images as she sees fit.

• How is this image made?

I paint using Adobe Photoshop® software, using a graphic tablet and pen. The photos are either shot with a digital Panasonic Lumix camera or my Samsung cell phone. The collages are either a combination of painting and photography or simply many photos blended together to make one unified piece of art. At least, that’s the intention.

• How long will it take to receive my painting?

If the painting is unframed the estimated arrival time is between 3-4 weeks. If the painting is framed then the estimated arrival time is between 4-6 weeks. I will let you know when it has shipped.

• How is the image size determined?

I usually work on the computer to scale at a size of 8” x 12 or 8″ x 10.”  In order to preserve the aspect ratio of the image and prevent distortion, the length and width must be enlarged by the same amount. (For example: 3 times 8 = 24, 3 times 12 = 36) 24” by 36” is a standard size for a painted canvas. The same rule applies to the photos in the aspect ratio of 16″ x 20″ (2 times 8=16, 2 times 10 = 20). Photos must be smaller than the paintings in order to maintain picture quality and avoid pixelation. However, all artwork can be custom-sized to a certain extent.

• Can I commission a painting?

Yes. You can. Just send me an e mail with your name, phone number and a convenient time to call at : rasmoller1Art@gmail.com and I’ll take it from there. All details will be personally discussed.

• Can I copy any of the images, even for educational purposes?

No! All of these images are subject to © U.S. Copyright Law All Rights Reserved. Reproducing, editing, and/or downloading any of these images is strictly prohibited.

• Can I order a painting framed?

Yes. Paintings maybe ordered framed or unframed. Collages will automatically come framed.

• What are the shipping costs?

Shipping charges will be determined by the size of the painting and whether it has to be framed. I cannot ship to Alaska or Hawaii. I cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or other alternative addresses.
