I was asked to create a painting that showed my sister, Donna, who is deceased, with her grandchild, Elena, whom she never got a chance to meet. This was a work of joy and sorrow for me. Ultimately, I wanted the two souls to experience the joy of their spiritual meeting and the acknowledgement of their familial relationship.
